Confidence can be described as a belief in one's self and one's ability to succeed. You may have days that you naturally feel more empowered, and some days you will feel totally disempowered. Striking a healthy balance between too much and too little confidence can be challenging. Too much and you can come off as cocky and stumble into unforeseen obstacles when you overestimate your own abilities or fail to complete projects on deadline because you underestimate the time and effort they require We all have more confidence in some areas of life than in others. It’s a fact: if you’ve got confidence in one area, you can get it in another. I can help you “map over” your high confidence in one area of your life to another. For example, you may have complete confidence in your professional life, but would like more belief in yourself in your social life.
Many people make the mistake of thinking they must feel confident before they take action. There are acts of confidence and feelings of confidence; one must precede the other. I help clients understand this dynamic, and act through any fear.
